Learn and Grow

January 30, 2017

Every year we make resolutions for one reason or another. Weight loss, physical fitness, time management, business growth, job performance, or asking for the well deserved raise! It helps to envision results, to help you start moving in that direction.

Every year I create a vision board. You don’t know what that is? I take old magazines and I cut out pictures of things, feelings, and goals that I am going to achieve in the coming year. I actually create a personal vision board and one for my business. On my personal board I might have pictures of a family, a healthy woman, a person riding a bike or hiking a trail, working out in a gym, or phrases like “change for the better”, “Life is Good” or “Grow inner Peace”. My business board might have pictures of a piggy bank, or phrases that include “Successful Investing”, or “Be a Leader”, or “Make a Difference!”

This week I will attend a workshop with Ellevate Network, a women’s professional organization here in Cincinnati, whose local chapter I am currently very involved with. In this seminar, we will create a vision-board in a group setting with a different variety of women. Some of the women are business owners, some managers, HR employees, attorneys, accountants, and so on. It is always powerful to have accountability partners to see what we are headed toward, to encourage us along the way, and to check in with us for accountability and redirection, if needed.

Partnering with a financial advisor can help you work towards your financial goals. She can help with accountability, check in with you to see if adjustments need to be made, and keep you on track. Let’s get together to review your goals.

I would be honored to be your financial accountability partner. Feel free to reach out to me and let’s get a time on the calendar.
