Linda’s story is a portrait of what one woman can accomplish with courage, determination and love. After graduating from Sycamore High School, she received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. She then moved to Germany for 12 years to help her husband run an electrical contracting company with 26 employees. Linda and her husband then returned to Cincinnati with two children (and the third on the way) to start a new business in America. She started her investment career at Fidelity Investments to help subsidize their income as the company grew, and earned her Series 7 and 63 securities licenses while with them.

Linda then accepted a position with a new transfer agency where she was instrumental in developing work-flow, a corporate training program for new hires and co-ops, and establishing an IRA Transfer of Assets Department. As assistant operations manager, she was responsible for reviewing transactions for accuracy and compliance under Federal SEC regulations. Ultimus Fund Solutions grew to over 60 employees and 1.2 billion dollars in assets during her tenure.

In December of 2006 her husband suddenly died, leaving her with three children, a household, and bills to pay. Shortly thereafter, she made the decision to change her career path and work in the financial management field with the intention of helping people going through life transitions. She founded Return to Work where she helped people in job transition find new positions by educating them on the importance of utilizing online social networking sites like LinkedIn, resume writing, interviewing skills and stress management. She has been on the board for the Cincinnati Chapter of Ellevate Network since 2011 and currently serves as Vice President. Ellevate is a Global Professional Women’s network dedicated to education and empowerment of women globally. It is the most expansive network of its kind, made up of successful, motivated, and passionate professional women, from various industries and walks of life, with one common belief: that investing in themselves and in other women is good business .She also serves as Director and Secretary of the Board for Companions on a Journey Grief Support Organization, a faith-based 501(c)(3) non-profit social service organization that provides bereavement and educational services to help those who grieve and educate those who do not understand the world of grief. Through her experiences, she brings invaluable skills to helping people with the emotional stress of going through most life changing transitions.  She is dedicated to helping to reduce the stress of finances so that children, home, and career can take priority.
